- In early 2010, the “Panda Express” Boeing 777F made a nonstop flight of approximately 14.5 hours from Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C. to Chengdu Airport in China to transport Tai Shan and Mei Lan, two giant pandas that are part of global conservation programs.

- Throughout summer 2010, FedEx relocated over 25,000 sea turtle eggs from the northern Gulf of Mexico to Florida’s Atlantic Coast in order to protect them from the recent oil spill disaster’s impact in the area.Shipped artifacts and the complete sterling silver service created for the USS Indiana in 1896 to the USS Indiana Museum Indiana War Memorial in Indianapolis after 76 years at sea.
- FedEx carried Heidi, a rhino from the Basel Zoo, in Switzerland, to Dublin, Ireland, to be the surrogate mother for Hoovie, an infant rhino whose mother died suddenly in the city.
- In late 2009 FedEx supported the transfer of a Harpy Eagle from Panama to the forests of Belize as a part of the region’s environmental conservation efforts. A few days after arriving in Belize, the eagle was released in Río Bravo, in northwestern Belize, near the border of Mexico and Guatemala.
- Has delivered more than 400,000 daffodils to the greater Boston community during the American Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days.
- Airlifted 31 tons of relief supplies valued at more than $1.5 million to Sichuan Province, which was devastated by an 8.0 magnitude earthquake.

- Transported Russian Empress Catherine the Great's collection of historic artifacts from Leningrad to Memphis for a special exhibition.
- Shipped a Sikorsky Black Hawk helicopter weighing 11,000 lbs. to Narita, Japan.
- Transported an 8-ton statue of Filipino war hero Dr. Jose P. Rizal, who inspired the 1896 revolution against Spanish domination, from the Philippines to Spain.
- Specially-chartered an Airbus A310 to return 19 penguins and two sea otters to the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas after an 9-month refuge in California following Hurricane Katrina.
- Transported 90 tons of materials for the "Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition," including a 3,000 pound piece of the ship's hull, from Milan, Italy, to Atlanta, GA.
