FedEx Team Members Get the Dirt on Spring Cleaning

April 24, 2017

FedEx team members are out and about this spring helping to make our local communities healthier, cleaner places to live and work.

As part of the FedEx Cares campaign, FedEx and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation will support cleanups and environmental projects in more than 20 cities during the next few months.

Our team members see local needs with every street they drive and neighborhood they visit. They helped choose many of the activities you’ll see in the photo galleries below.

    Darin says:

Adding community gardens at our children’s schools broadens their learning experiences and provides an accessible, calming respite from the institutional stressors close at hand. In addition to formal teaching, children are also nourished by nature’s wonders, seeing things grow they helped plant, watching hummingbirds visiting feeders and butterflies pollinating flowers. This is such a rewarding volunteer activity!

    Tony P says:

Horticulture is a great science to learn and appreciate for the youth of today. Especially considering the boom of United States crops in past years.
