FedEx Delivers in a Texas Elementary School

December 22, 2008

To celebrate the Christmas season, E.O. Woods Intermediate School, a Texas “Exemplary” campus, participates in the Annual Reindeer Games.  Included in the festivities is a door-decorating contest.  Connie Pritchett, a former FedEx Express courier, chose “Santa Baby Do You Need Some Help?” as her theme for this year’s contest.

Connie began her career with FedEx Express in Texarkana, Texas in June of 1993 shortly after graduating from Texas A&M University.  She worked as a courier in Texarkana, Texas, Russellville, Arkansas, Brownwood, Texas and Hot Springs, Arkansas.  She resigned from the company in September 2000 to begin her teaching career.  Although she enjoys educating children, she misses the excitement and challenge of being a FedEx courier, as well as the interaction with her customers.

Wills Point Independent School District, a Texas “Recognized” district, is a large 3A school located 50 miles east of Dallas, Texas.
