Powering the Network

Working at FedEx has taught me many things, but above all, it’s reinforced the belief that a business, whether an established corporation or an expanding small business, can only be as successful as the people who make up the company’s DNA.

Simply being able to differentiate from the competition on your product offerings is no longer enough. The most successful companies are those whose team members are not only willing, but motivated to go above and beyond in every customer experience.

Wherever you are in the world, FedEx demonstrates that reliability every day.  Whether you’re in Canada or China, it’s the people of FedEx that make it happen. This year’s global ad campaign shines the spotlight on the heart of the FedEx worldwide network – our team members – and will be seen in Brazil, China, Germany, India, Mexico, Japan and South Korea.

The series of ads went live on November 12, 2012, with a multimarket print and online media campaign. For our small and medium customers, we’ve also launched landing pages on the fedex.com  global website where all our customers can find more content and information about innovative transportation solutions to meet their needs.

FedEx finds solutions to shipping needs, but logistics can only succeed with effective teamwork. That’s why I’m proud of our team members worldwide who deliver the human touch. It’s not something you can teach, but it is something as a team we deliver.

    FedEx is such a wonderful company and I’m so grateful to be a volunteer at FedEx and knowing that I’m helping others. I also ship with FedEx for my ebay shipments and FedEx understands me and my shipping needs wile UPS could care less. FedEx has saved my ebay business and I’m so blessed to beable to have you shipping my things to my customers and knowing that each package arrives on time and is intact.

    Expounding on your thoughts I would like to add that working on a team to find the absolute best customer solution contingent upon each set of unique circumstances is extraordinarily rewarding. It may not be the perfect solution but it will be the best solution.

    Whether that effort takes a few moments or several months/years. It just feels right. It’s the right thing to do.

    Differentiating ourselves in the marketplace by having this mindset also leaves a permanent legacy on the history of this company, shipping, and transportation overall.

    Our collective teams will find the “next big thing” with this mindset but at the same time have a tremendous amount of fun satisfying customer needs and solving customer challenges through the identification of unique opportunities to do so.

    Every second, of every day. We are fortunate to have leadership in our safety organization that has allowed me to share thoughts with my safety peer “Seth” in China. It’s this global perspective that will help differentiate us. We are just regions of one big network. Sharing ideas and collaborating on solutions. There are no boundaries to innovation and teamwork.
