WTO Trade Facilitation Moves Forward
Michael L. Ducker, FedEx Express President and Chief Operating Officer responds to the announcement that the United States and India have reached an agreement to move forward with the implementation of the WTO Trade Facilitation Agreement.
“FedEx is pleased that a solution has been found to move the WTO Trade Facilitation agreement forward. The WTO agreement will cut red tape and reduce the administrative costs of trade around the world. This will be especially helpful for developing countries and small businesses seeking to expand internationally. We look forward to ratification and implementation of the agreement so that these enormous economic benefits can be realized.”
