FedEx Announces Leadership Appointments In Europe, Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa

FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, today announced the appointment of David Binks as regional president, FedEx Express, Europe, Middle East, Indian Subcontinent and Africa (EMEA), effective January 1, 2014.   He will succeed Gerald P. Leary, who is retiring from FedEx Express after 39 years of distinguished service.

(NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, is joining forces with the coffee  shop chain Café Coffee Day (CCD) to launch the traditional Rakhi offer.  The offer enables a sister to win an opportunity to meet up with her “true brother” (biological or spiritual) anywhere in the world, by just shipping a Rakhi to him using FedEx and by participating in the contest.

Karan Johar Presents “FedEx International Student of the Year” Award

 MUMBAI, June 27, 2013 — FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, today announced the winner of the ‘FedEx International Student of the Year’ contest.  Anurag Das from Pune was handed the award by the Bollywood director Karan Johar at a ceremony in Mumbai.  He emerged as the winner from a competitive field of 5,000 students.

FedEx unveils strategic acquisition deal in Southern Africa

Brussels and Johannesburg, June 20, 2013 - FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) announced today that it has completed the first stage of a strategic acquisition by signing agreements to acquire the businesses operated by its current service provider Supaswift (Pty) Ltd. in South Africa and four other countries, including Malawi, Mozambique, Swaziland and Zambia, and is also in discussions to acquire Supaswift’s businesses in Botswana and Namibia.

FedEx Invites Mumbai to Donate Packaged Drinking Water to Drought-Affected Villages in Maharashtra
