FedEx Freight CEO Michael L. Ducker Testifies on Freight Transportation Infrastructure and the U.S. Economy

Congressional testimony by FedEx Freight CEO Michael Ducker on April 4th, 2017 before the Senate Subcommittee on Surface Transportation and Merchant Marine Infrastructure, Safety, and Security for the hearing titled "Keeping Goods Moving: Continuing to Enhance Multimodal Freight Policy and Infrastructure", in Russell 253 at 2:30pm.

In testimony today on Capitol Hill, FedEx Freight CEO Michael L. Ducker underscored FedEx focus on safety and innovation in the trucking industry and the need for modern infrastructure. “Collaboration and sustained commitment to modernization will be vital to ensuring a reliable transportation system for American consumers, businesses and the growing e-commerce marketplace,” Mr. Ducker told members of the Senate Subcommittee on Surface Transportation and Merchant Marine Infrastructure, Safety, and Security. Mr. Ducker addressed the importance of a modern infrastructure network for trucking and a thriving U.S. economy, including common sense policy solutions to upgrade transportation equipment, such as the use of 33 foot trailers.
