Scholarship Funds

We are committed to providing minority youths access to educational opportunities.

We support the following scholarship funds which seek to create and advance opportunities for all students:

Hispanic Scholarship Fund
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) is a resource dedicated to advancing higher education and increasing the earning power for Hispanic Americans. The HSF-FedEx Scholarship Program supports a new group of scholars annually with a four year, renewable scholarship. FedEx also sponsors annual HSF town hall meetings to educate students and families about educational resources and opportunities. The organization’s mission is to double the rate of Hispanics earning college degrees by 2010.

United Negro College Fund (UNCF)
FedEx supports UNCF, the nation’s oldest minority education assistance organization. The UNCF prepares, empowers and connects more than 60,000 diverse students across the country with skills, opportunities and access to quality higher education. Through scholarships and the UNCF “Empower Me Tours,” FedEx is helping thousands of collegiate and high school students achieve their dreams of pursuing a higher education.

Asian and Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund
FedEx sponsors the Asian and Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund, the nation’s largest nonprofit organization devoted solely to providing scholarships for Asian and Pacific Islander Americans. The organization also manages the Gates Millennium Scholars program which provides Pell Grants to outstanding students.

American Indian College Fund
FedEx supports the American Indian College Fund via scholarships to Native freshman students attending tribal college. The AICF is dedicated to “Educating the Mind and Spirit” and is the nation’s largest provider of scholarships for American Indian students, providing an average of 6,000 scholarships annually.
