When we think about sustainability and our customer service remote rep program, the first thing that comes to mind is how we have reduced carbon emissions by elimination the daily commute. We have another way in which our program is EarthSmart (solutions for a more sustainable world), and that is the reduction of our use of paper and striving toward becoming a ‘paperless office.’

Did you know that working from home programs can save not only time and money, but can also help reduce carbon emissions? About 900 of our FedEx TechConnect customer service representatives are doing just that – working remotely through our EarthSmart @ Work program, REACH (Reps Engaged and Connected @ Home). EarthSmart encourages FedEx team members to share in the FedEx commitment to a sustainable world through ideas and actions.
