Playing the Sandbox
At FedEx Office, we constantly have our eye on innovation, even it if means going back to the sandbox for ideas. But we’re not talking about the kind of sandbox you’re probably thinking of – there are no castles, pails or shovels here. We’re headed to share one of our latest innovations at the Developer Sandbox during Google I/O.
Google I/O is an annual developer conference featuring highly technical, in-depth sessions and showcasing the latest from Google’s product teams and partners.
The Developer Sandbox showcases demos from a wide range of developers who have built applications based on technologies and products that are featured at I/O. We have been invited to demo our FedEx Office® Print Online Google Drive application and connect with I/O attendees developer-to-developer to answer questions and exchange ideas.
I’ll be onsite at the conference to present our FedEx Office® Print Online application that lets you customize, design and print all kinds of things – presentations, flyers, posters and more using your Google Drive files. When you’re ready to print, you can either have your documents shipped via FedEx (who else!), or choose to pick them up from one of 1,800+ FedEx Office locations nationwide. Whether you’re in pajama pants or a business suit, we give you access to online printing services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – anywhere, anytime.
Now that I’ve talked a big game, you probably want to see it, right? You can view and download the app here. Go ahead and give it a try and see how easy it is. The next time you need a document printed fast or want to send something toprint to pick up in another city, you’ll thank me.
This new app complements our existing suite of Google integrations, including:
- Cloud access to Google Drive in-store in our self-serve area via copy machines
- Cloud access to Google Drive online via Print Online, our eCommerce printing platform
- Cloud access to Google Drive via our newly released FedEx Office mobile app.
When it comes to clouds, you’re covered with FedEx Office.
I’ll be live from Google I/O this week, so stay tuned to @FedExOffice on Twitter to see exclusive photos and stories.
