The vertebrae fracture will sideline Hamlin for several weeks. Veteran driver Mark Martin will substitute in Sunday’s race at Martinsville (Va.) Speedway. Brian Vickers will pilot the #11 car thereafter, until Denny is well.

Working at FedEx has taught me many things, but above all, it’s reinforced the belief that a business, whether an established corporation or an expanding small business, can only be as successful as the people who make up the company’s DNA.Simply being able to differentiate from the competition on your product offerings is no longer enough. Hello race fans! It’s that time of year again, when all the hard work put in by our FedEx team throughout the season will hopefully pay off in the Chase for the Sprint Cup championship.I’m excited for this year’s Chase because I think our team has a great shot at winning it all. Darian Grubb, my crew chief, has put together a championship-caliber team and we have all the pieces in place to make a run for the big prize.
