How a Rookie Team from Quebec Took FIRST Robotics by Storm
The lovely little town of Trois Riveres, Quebec lies on the northwest banks of the famed St. Lawrence River, about halfway between Montreal and Quebec City in Canada. Although it was founded over 400 years ago, this city certainly doesn’t live in the past. Trois Riveres is the home of Ultime’, FIRST Robotics Team 5528.

The story of Catullo Prime Meats - a third generation butcher shop in Youngstown, OH - that he would eventually share with thousands of supporters and a few nameless, faceless reviewers at FedEx who would determine whether he would win one of six FedEx Small Business Grants.

In the 1940’s, my grandmother and her sisters worked the farm, picking tomatoes that were sold to Campbell’s Soup Company in Camden, NJ. My dad and his sister spent their summers with their cousins on their grandmother’s farm.
