FedEx Contractor Rescues Police Officer Under Attack

Mike Elgas, a driver for Wkforce, Inc,  Service Provider to FedEx Ground, risked his own life to save the life of a police officer who was being assaulted.  It all started as an ordinary day as Mike stopped for breakfast on his way to work in Las Vegas, NV. While eating he noticed a belligerent customer overpower a police officer, knock him to the ground, and begin punching and yelling that he was going to kill him.

Celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service in Atlanta with Stop Hunger Now

On January 20th, 80 FedEx employees gathered in a warehouse in South Atlanta to package 20,088 meals through Stop Hunger Now, a global humanitarian aid organization aimed at ending hunger worldwide. In just two short hours these employees filled, weighed, sealed, and boxed thousands of bags containing a nutrient-rich mixture of rice, soy, and vegetables.

When I go for dance class I really forget what the rest of the world is doing. It's just simply tap your feet and move your body as the music goes. Dance helps to make your mind fresh; after performing one feels so relaxed from deep inside.
