Epic Blizzard Strands 6 FedEx Freight Drivers
FedEx Freight drivers are used to driving in all types of conditions; it’s what they do every day. But for six drivers, an epic snow storm the week before Thanksgiving made travel impossible. The storm dumped as much as seven feet of snow in the Buffalo New York area and shut down a 132-mile section of the New York State Thruway for several days.

Daydream in Green!
The children of FedEx Freight employees were asked to do just that for the Daydream in Green! art contest in support of Earth Day. The submitted artwork was colorful, creative, and illustrated a ton of talent, but most of all, it was inspiring. These children understood that creating a more sustainable future requires us to recycle, use alternative forms of energy, plant trees and always take care of the world.

FedEx Military Dad Delivers Trees For Troops
As a FedEx Freight team member I’m part of a team that delivers millions of shipments and packages each year. I know each shipment and package is special to our customers. But, today I helped make a special delivery that is important to me and my family. My wife Teresa and I were part of the FedEx Freight team that delivered holiday joy to hundreds of U.S. service members and their families at Fort Polk, Louisiana.

VIDEO: Trees for Troops and FedEx Delivering Holiday Smiles
During our busiest time of the year, we’re not too busy to show our appreciation to the military men and women who serve our country. As part of Trees for Troops, over 17,000 live trees donated by tree growers around the country through the Christmas SPIRIT Foundation are being delivered. Destinations include more than 60 military bases throughout the U.S. and installations in Kuwait, Spain, and Bahrain. Jason Case, a Senior Security Specialist in Columbus, Ohio is one of many FedEx employees who make this program possible by helping at distribution sites.
