Army Veteran’s New Mission: Repairing FedEx Fleet
As John Sheard prepares to celebrate his first anniversary as a FedEx Fleet Maintenance Manager, he reflects on one of the biggest transitions of his life—the move to FedEx on the heels of a 20-year career in the U.S. Army. “I had a lot of family members who served in the military and it was

Honor, Courage and Commitment for Trees for Troops
I was honored to participate alongside the Christmas Spirit Foundation to support the Trees for Troops program at Fort Benning in Columbus, Georgia. Oh What Sweet Memories!

Who would have thought that 20 years after leaving the Marine Corps, FedEx would give me an opportunity to once again work on the CH-46 Sea Knight? For the past several months, I have had the honor to not only work for FedEx, but with the Marines again. Our joint mission: to relocate a retired CH-46 helicopter from the boneyard at the Davis Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, AZ to The Veterans’ Museum in Halls, TN.
