FedEx Cares Delivers Positive Changes to Chinese Communities
SHANGHAI, Dec.12, 2018 — During FedEx Cares 2018, the company’s global volunteer program, FedEx China launched 25 activities in 10 cities between September and December, with more than 380 employees volunteering nearly 1,100 hours.
This year marks the tenth year of FedEx Cares in China, and FedEx China employees continued to embody the spirit of volunteerism. By actively cooperating with local charities, schools, communities and welfare services, FedEx China volunteers carried out numerous activities for public good, including caring for special-needs children, visiting impoverished families, helping with environmental protection efforts, spending time with the elderly, conducting road safety education and providing in-kind transportation of farm produce and so on.
