FedEx chooses Geodis to perform pick up and delivery operations in France

Paris, June 26, 2006 – FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE:FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, and Geodis, one of the leading companies of logistics services in Europe, have signed an operational agreement for a 3 year period.

As of January 2,  2007 Geodis will perform pick-ups and deliveries for FedEx customers in designated areas in France, not directly served by FedEx. FedEx customers will benefit from Geodis’ quality of service and extensive ground infrastructure in those areas of France.

With this new operational agreement, FedEx will significantly extend its noon deliveries and late pick-ups in France, providing its customers more ease-of-use and better access to the fastest network to Asia and the Americas” said Jean-Marc Lacombe, Managing Director Operations France.

“FedEx will connect more than 70% of France GDP to its next day service to the US, through our unmatched Expressfreighter service – that represents a 15% increase in coverage.This illustrates again FedEx’s determination to be the preferred express carrier for international shipments in France”, added Jean-Marc Lacombe.

Through the establishment of this operational agreement with Geodis, FedEx will continue to enhance its network, coverage and capacity in Franceand in Europefor all its customers.
