FedEx Expands Program To Enable Faster, Cost-Effective Exporting For Small- and Medium-Size Companies
MIAMI – March 28, 2006 – FedEx Express, the world’s largest express transportation company and a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX), has expanded its FedEx PyMEx Membership Program to help small- and medium-size businesses in six Latin American countries join the region’s growing export market and become more competitive players in the global marketplace.
The PyMEx program now will offer a comprehensive suite of services and tools to meet the needs of small- and medium-size businesses (SMBs) on a specific, country-by-country basis in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico, in conjunction with local government agencies and industry associations.

Education on international commerce is a key element of the FedEx PyMEx Membership Program and includes export seminars and practical workshops throughout the region. The seminars feature subject matter experts in local export issues, new shipping technologies, distribution and cost-saving strategies. To date, dozens of seminars have been conducted throughout the region.
