FedEx Expands Reach of FedEx International Economy Service in Asia
TAIPEI, October 11, 2011 — FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, has further strengthened its FedEx International Economy® (IE) and FedEx International Economy® Freight (IEF) services in Asia. IE and IEF services will now be available from more points of origin inside Asia Pacific to more destinations inside the region and beyond.
IE and IEF offer a more economical, time-definite delivery service for less-urgent shipments with the same level of quality and reliability that FedEx prides itself on. FedEx has now added Macau into the IE network as well as new lanes between Australia and New Zealand, and Asia and major African markets, Jordan and the Ukraine. New IEF lanes now connect Australia and New Zealand and China and Costa Rica.
