FedEx Express in Korea Launches Flat Rate Promotion for Admission Documents for Admission Documents
SEOUL, November 18, 2013 — FedEx Express (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation company, launched a flat rate promotion for shipment of admission documents in conjunction with the college application season in Korea. From today to February 28, 2014, college applicants can enjoy a competitive flat rate of KRW 19,100, discounted up to 68 percent by destination, for shipping admission documents weighing under 0.5 kg.
FedEx Express in Korea will deliver the admission documents to the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Japan, and China via FedEx International Priority®, which is available in more than 220 countries. FedEx International Priority service allows a next-business-day express delivery within the Asian region, and 2-3 business days from Korea to major cities in the U.S., Europe and other locations. Safe and fast customer service, including a customs-cleared door-to-door service and a 24-hour tracking service via the FedEx homepage, is also offered.
Customers who wish to receive the flat rate service for sending in their respective documents can either visit the FedEx stations in Korea or book a pick-up service via FedEx customer service hotline. Customers may be required to show their student ID or provide an arrival address, including the official name of the institution.
FedEx Express in Korea will also be holding a lucky draw event until the end of February 2014 where 150 students from three major language institutions—Hackers Language Institute (http://www.hacademia.com), YBM Language Institute (http://www.ybmedu.com) and SDA Sahmyook Language School (http://student.sda.co.kr) –who send an admission document via FedEx will receive vouchers and various prizes.
