“This award highlights FedEx excellence as an international logistics provider to the Indian market. We are pleased to present FedEx with this prestigious award. The FedEx heritage and strong reputation in international logistics has been recognized by Frost & Sullivan in the form of this Award, as chosen by consumers,” said Anand Rangachary, managing director, South Asia & Middle East, Frost & Sullivan.
The Frost & Sullivan Voice of the Customer Award for Best International Logistics Provider is given to companies that truly demonstrate excellence in the international logistics sector. Companies with the highest ratings in the given award category from customers across the key industries are shortlisted for the award. The ratings attained by each contending Logistics Service Provider (LSP) on evaluation parameters are weighed against the importance assigned by end-users for the respective parameters, with the highest scoring company named the winner. Each evaluation parameter relevant to the logistics industry is weighted appropriately according to first-hand research conducted by Frost & Sullivan with local market customers.
In line with the FedEx commitment to providing customers with unrivalled access to the global community, it has introduced more flights in the region, expanded the country’s domestic express service, and launched a series of new services over the past year. FedEx launched import services to offer customers reliable, customized, door-to-door, customs-cleared, time-definite services.
Today, FedEx Express has 31 intercontinental dedicated weekly cargo flights that connect key Indian cities with global trade centers—more than any other express service provider in the country. As a result of continuous expansion, FedEx now offers domestic premium express delivery services from 58 origins to 331 destination cities across India.
