FedEx Named International Express Operator of the Year

Taipei,25, 2010 – FedEx Express (FedEx), a subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX) and the world’s largest express transportation companies, has been named the International Express Operator of the Year for the second consecutive year at the 2010 World Air Cargo Awards, reaffirming FedEx leading position in the industry.
FedEx received the highest number of votes in an open on-line voting system in product innovation, market coverage and service standards. The award presentation ceremony was held in Shanghai, China on June 9.
“This award reflects FedEx continuous efforts to innovate and deliver better services to our customers. More importantly, it recognizes the combined efforts of every FedEx employee who committed themselves to ensuring that every FedEx experience is outstanding,” said David Cunningham, Jr., president, FedEx Express, Asia Pacific.
The World Air Cargo Awards is an annual event organized by the renowned international airfreight publication Air Cargo Week, celebrating excellence and achievement in the global air cargo industry.
