FedEx Office Meets Evolving Needs of Print Customers, Enhances Print Capabilities with Significant Investments in Equipment and Technology

According to a recent survey, more than nine in 10 consumers agreed there will always be a need for printed materials.  Survey results also revealed the quality of printed materials is an indication of the quality of service provided by a business, illustrating that print continues to be a critical resource for businesses.  These businesses are seeking a broader range of innovative substrates, top-tier color quality and professional finishes, which are critical for their materials to stand out from the competition.

FedEx Office has made significant investments in new machines and technology in the last two years, enhancing capabilities in narrow format color, large format, color management and other technologies.  Additional investments are planned over the next two years in grand format, large format, enhanced finishing and other print capabilities.

The company’s most recent investment includes the installation of the newest 40-inch-wide Heidelberg five-color Speedmaster CD 102 offset sheet-fed press.  The new machine offers faster printing speeds and the latest G7 certified color management technologies providing FedEx Office customers with sharp color quality and a wider range of substrates.
