FedEx Supports Open Skies

Today, FedEx President and COO David J. Bronczek joined the CEOs of three other leading U.S cargo and passenger airlines in sending a letter to newly confirmed United States Trade Representative, Ambassador Robert Lighthizer. Writing on behalf of the U.S. Airlines for Open Skies Coalition, the letter’s authors underscore the importance of protecting the global network of U.S. Open Skies agreements, which eliminate government interference in commercial decisions about the routes, frequency, pricing, and capacity of passenger and cargo airline service. These critical agreements allow airlines to “deliver more efficient and cost-effective service to American consumers, businesses, and the U.S. government, including the military.”
