The enhancements make shipping even easier for customers all over the Latin America and Caribbean region.  The redesigned site is available in English, Spanish and Portuguese.

The website’s interface has been redone to provide easy access to all tools and applications from the home page, thanks to the inclusion of features such as universal headers with rollover menus and a fresh, new look for the site, with sections such as Customer Center, Resources, Track, Special Offers and News.

In addition, all information regarding country-specific customs requirements and regulations, available services and local country information are easily accessible from anywhere on the site and tailored specifically to the customer’s is log-in location.

“The new fedex.com aims to give customers in the Latin American and Caribbean region more than a new look: it will mean simpler navigation, information that’s easier to find and more powerful tools with which to meet their shipping needs,” said Mike Murkowski, vice president of Marketing, Customer Service & Customer Technology, FedEx Express Latin America & Caribbean Division.

FedEx Ship Manager® at fedex.com, the free online shipping application which services all countries in the LAC region, has also received an overhaul, integrating its functionality with the Rating, Transit Time and Pickup tools.  This allows for easy sharing of information among them and eliminates time spent re-typing shipment data for each of these tools.  With FedEx Ship Manager at fedex.com, customers are able to create labels, print air waybills and access all fedex.com online tools quickly and easily.

“In today’s highly-competitive business environment, time is money.  This is especially true for transport and logistics, so our site redesign aims to do exactly that: present information in a way that is logical to the Latin American and Caribbean shipper and save them processing time,” said Murkowski.  “Our fedex.com and FedEx Ship Manager at fedex.com make up the one-stop solution for customers who not only want to speed up their shipment and management processes, but who are also looking for current information on customs requirements, international shipping, trade and regulations.”
