Cary C. Pappas is president and chief executive officer of FedEx Forward Depots. The company encompasses FedEx Critical Inventory Logistics®, Service Parts Logistics, 3D Printing, and the Repair Center.
Pappas is responsible for the development and execution of the global 3D printing and critical inventory logistics strategy for FedEx, with initial focus on aerospace.
His team provides world-class technology solutions and technological innovation, including contact center troubleshooting, hardware repairs, onsite support, device configuration, fulfillment services, robotics, and 3D printing.
Throughout his nearly 35 years with FedEx, Pappas has embraced the traditions that define the renowned brand and position FedEx as a leader in the global marketplace. He joined FedEx Express in 1983 as a courier in Dallas. Over the course of his FedEx career, he has held many leadership positions. Having earned his bachelor’s degree in marketing transportation from the University of Memphis, Pappas is a seven-time recipient of the prestigious Five Star Award, the highest individual recognition at FedEx.
