Michael K. Pigors is regional president and executive vice president of the U.S. domestic and U.S. international region for FedEx Express. Appointed April 15, 2017, Pigors oversees more than 90,000 FedEx Express team members in the U.S. and is responsible for the planning and execution of the company’s U.S. domestic operations and U.S. export business.
Pigors joined FedEx Express in 1976 while in college. In 1979, he was promoted into management and has held numerous leadership positions in both the Air Ground and Freight Services (AGFS) and U.S. Operations operating divisions. Prior to his current role, he was AGFS senior vice president responsible for all of FedEx Express U.S. domestic hub, ramp and FedEx Express® Freight pickup and delivery operations. He moved to the AGFS team in 2001 as vice president of Western region hub and ramp operations. Before that, he was vice president in our ground operations for the Western region. He is a nine-time winner of the FedEx Five Star Award for outstanding achievement.
Married with two children, Pigors resides in Memphis, Tennessee. He holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Denver.
